본 연구실은 과거에는 주로 세포사멸에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 현재는 백신개발 및 유전자치료제 개발에 연구역량을 집중하고 있다. 특히, 아데노바이러스를 전달체로 이용한 재조합백신 및 유전자치료제 개발 분야에서는 독자적인 벡터를 비롯하여 세포주 등 다수의 원천기술을 확보하고 있다. 현재, 메르스, 에볼라, 인플루엔자, C형 간염바이러스, 결핵 등 다수의 전염병에 대한 백신을 개발 중이다. |

For the past, we studied apoptotic mechanism as our major research stream. Currently, we put majority of our effort on development of various recombinant vaccines and gene therapies, especially, using Adenovirus as a delivery vector. We possess our own materials and technologies, including a novel Ad-packaging cell line and vector system. Using these materials and technologies, the vaccines for MERS-coV, Ebola virus, influenza viruses, hepatitis C viruses and tuberculosis are under development. |
